Daniel
J. Coverdell, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Coverdell
was born and raised in
Montana.
He attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he was inducted into
the National Catholic College Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Sigma, in 1987
and graduated maxima cum laude in 1988 with degrees in Biology and
Chemistry. He completed his medical degree at the
Uniformed
Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine in
Bethesda,
Maryland
in 1992. After medical school he completed a three-year residency in Family
Practice at Malcolm Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland
and became Board Certified in Family Practice in 1995
by the
American Board of Family Practice.
Dr.
Coverdell was assigned to a Family Practice Staff Teaching Position at the
89th Medical Group in
Maryland
in 1995, where he remained until 1996. From 1996 to 2002 he served in the
Emergency Rooms and Family Practice Departments at the U.S. Air Force
Hospitals at
Incirlik,
Turkey
and Elmendorf Air Force Base,
Alaska. Acute Family Medicine Clinic, Inc.
was formed in November 2001.
